Manchester City's incredible unbeaten run at the Etihad Stadium came to an end in shock fashion as Pep Guardiola's men booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals, but lost a home game for the first time since 2016 as they were beaten by Basel in the second leg of their last-16 tie.

It is only the second time City have reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup or Champions League. Juventus, Real Madrid and Liverpool are the other sides to have clinched their last-eight spots this week.
