BREAKING: Floyd Mayweather Backs Out Of Fight With 20-Year-Old Kickboxer, Says He Was 'Blindsided'

American professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has dramatically appears to have backed out of a planned New Year’s Eve fight with 20-year-old Japanese kickboxer, Tenshin Nasukawa. 

Less than three days after he appeared at a Tokyo press conference announcing the bout, claiming he was “blindsided” by the promoter regarding the nature and magnitude of the event

The 41-year-old had initially confirmed the bout for 31st of December 2018 during a press conference which took place on Sunday night in Tokyo. It was also understood that he revealed that he signed with Japanese mixed martial arts promotions company RIZIN Fighting Federation.

The five-division boxing champion said in an Instagram post on Wednesday that he had agreed to a three-round exhibition “purely for entertainment purposes with no intentions of being represented as an official fight card” and was “completely derailed by the new direction this event was going”.

Now that I am back on U.S. soil after a long and disappointing trip to Tokyo, I now have the time to address you, my fans and the media in regard to the upcoming event on December 31st that was recently announced. First and foremost, I want it to be clear that I, Floyd Mayweather, never agreed to an official bout with Tenshin Nasukawa. In fact (with all due respect) I have never heard of him until this recent trip to Japan. Ultimately, I was asked to participate in a 9 minute exhibition of 3 rounds with an opponent selected by the "Rizen Fighting Federation".  

What I was originally informed of by Brent Johnson of "One Entertainment" was that this was to be an exhibition put on for a small group of wealthy spectators for a very large fee. This exhibition was previously arranged as a "Special Bout" purely for entertainment purposes with no intentions of being represented as an official fight card nor televised worldwide. Once I arrived to the press conference, my team and I were completely derailed by the new direction this event was going and we should have put a stop to it immediately.  

I want to sincerely apologize to my fans for the very misleading information that was announced during this press conference and I can assure you that I too was completely blindsided by the arrangements that were being made without my consent nor approval.
For the sake of the several fans and attendees that flew in from all parts of the world to attend this past press conference, I was hesitant to create a huge disturbance by combating what was being said and for that I am truly sorry.

Unbelievable As Manchester United Defeated Juventus In Turin (Photos/Video)

Manchester United defeated Italian champions, Juventus, in Turin with two goals in the final five minutes earned themselves a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages.

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho was angrily confronted by Leonardo Bonucci when the Portuguese taunted the Juventus fans after Manchester United’s epic comeback in Turin.

Before things could escalate, Mourinho and Bonucci were separated as Ashley Young stepped in to keep the Juventus star away from his manager. Mourinho was then ushered off the pitch to avoid any more flash-points.

Khloe Kardashian Reportedly Still 'Hurt And Angry' With Tristan Thompson

Reality star Khloe Kardashian, 34, is still dealing with ''a lot of hurt and anger'' over allegations Tristan Thompson cheated on her, according to a reliable source.

The reality star  who has six-month-old daughter True with the NBA player - continues to have a really ''tough time'' dealing with the cheating scandal.

Despite this, a source told People: ''Khloe wants so badly for True to have a happy family.

''She wants to do what's best for her daughter, and to her that means being with Tristan.''

Khloe learned of the cheating allegations from her younger sister Kylie Jenner.

Reflecting on their awkward conversation, Kylie recently said: ''No one had the courage to tell Khloe, because we knew she was days away from giving birth.

''We didn't want to stress her out, but we knew that it was the right thing to do. So, I'm the one that told Khloe.''

Although Khloe's relationship with Tristan has appeared to be on the rocks ever since the cheating allegations emerged, a source recently suggested that she's determined to ''stick by'' the NBA player until ''she can't take it anymore''.

The insider explained: ''People are underestimating how much she's willing to take for love.

''If Khloe is in love with someone or even connected to them in some way or another, she will stay until she physically and emotionally can't take it anymore.''

Meanwhile, Khloe recently admitted it had been ''very hard'' to relive Tristan's alleged infidelity on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

A Twitter user posted: ''I feel so bad for @khloekardashian had to go through what Tristan did while filming #KUWTK. If I'm not wrong, next episode will be insane. Mourinho Desires Stay For In-Form Anthony Martial

In the midst of contract negotiations, Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho hopes Anthony Martial who recently rejected a new contract offer, will commit his future to Manchester United.

According to reports, the Frenchman's sale would be used as collateral to sign Ivan Perisic before the start of the season, his recent turn of form has prompted a change of heart from the Manager.

In the lead-up to Saturday's trip to face AFC Bournemouth, the Portuguese manager also expressed his desire for the 22-year-old to stay at Old Trafford.

"I don't belong to the discussions of contracts," Mourinho said. "I'm not participating in these kinds of discussions. Obviously I hope they will agree.

"Obviously I would like him to stay. I know the club wants him very much to stay. Hopefully he is going to stay."

Scoring four goals in his past three Premier League matches, Martial has become a solitary spark for an otherwise grim Manchester United in possession.

With Nemanja Matic commenting on Martial's confidence impacting performance earlier in the week, Mourinho believes he is making the leap to realized potential.

"One thing is that he's a talented player that everybody knows he is. Everybody knows since he was in Monaco that he is a talented player," Mourinho said.

"Another thing is a talented player with consistency and understanding what a football match is in the globality. When you reach that level, or when you are almost reaching that level, is when you become a top player.

"One thing is a top talent, another is a top player. He is now much closer to being a top player."
