This Is The World's First 5G Smartphone (Photos)

Now that technology is advancing we tend to hear things we never believed could happen, one of those is the new 5G NETWORK and top smartphone manufacturing companies are buying into this idea.

Recently a Twitter user who goes by the name Sherif Hanna had posted a photo of world’s first 5G smartphone. Well, Sherif Hanna is marketing lead for 5G NR and LTE Modems for Qualcomm. The image clearly shows that the smartphone sports a dual rear camera and carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon logo at the back panel.

What Is 5G
5G is the coming fifth-generation wireless broadband technology based on the IEEE 802.11ac standard. 5G will provide better speeds and coverage than the current 4G. 5G operates with a 5Ghz signal and is set to offer speeds of up to 1 Gb/s for tens of connections or tens of Mb/s for tens of thousands of connections.
What is the frequency of 5G?
As far as frequency, the 5G test network used a 15 GHz frequency band, which is higher and shorter range than current 3G/4G cellular frequencies that top out at around 2.6 GHz, i.e. 2600 MHz LTE Band 7.
