Fulani Herdsman Whose Cows Destroyed Farmlands In Ekiti Sentenced To Jail

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose via his twitter handle, disclosed that a Fulani herdsman whose cows destroyed the farmlands of some people in the state was sentenced, he wrote; One Fulani herdsmen whose cows destroyed farmlands in Ekiti was jailed yesterday! That to me will serve as deterrent others.

In August 2016, Fayose signed the state's anti-grazing bill into law. The bill outlaws open grazing as well as grazing in undesignated areas.
