Masquerades invade mosque, attack Muslims in Ikun Ekiti (Phptos)

Pandemonium broke out in Ikun Ekiti in Ekiti state on Tuesday night, when some masquerades invaded the central mosque in the community and attacked the Muslim faithfuls who were praying in the mosque. According to residents of the community, the masquerades were annoyed with the Muslims because they called for prayers while they were celebrating their festival, an act that is prohibited by their tradition.
