Nigerians far away in Houston Texas USA, celebrated their teacher, David L. Koren who taught them at Ohuhu Community Secondary School Amaogwugu in Umuahia, Abia state between 1964-1966 (over 50 years ago). The Ohuhu indigenes honored the aged teacher along with his wife – in a glamorous event held on saturday 27th May 2017.
According to reports, he served as a volunteer for UNICEF on Biafran Airlift, during the Civil War – from where he was sending food stuffs and drugs to Ohuhu villagers.
The man was given some gifts and dollars sprayed on him by the Nigerians as he danced at the event.
