Auchi Polytechnic graduate bags 7 years in jail for stealing mobile phone inside a church

Igbosere magistrate's court sitting in Lagos has sentenced Williams Okonoboh Eromosele, an ex- convict, and a graduate of accountancy from Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State to seven years in prison with hard labour for stealing a mobile phone inside a church.

The convict was recently sentenced by magistrate Mrs. O. Otitoju after he pleaded guilty on one- count charge.

The 28-years-old was arrested after he stole a Huawei G73 phone valued at N70,000 at the Church of Resurrection Anglican located at 1004 estate, Victoria Island, Lagos, just months after he was released from prison for stealing money from church offering box in December 2016.
