Five dead including a child burnt to death as commercial bus goes up in flames in Lagos

Five persons including a child were today burnt beyond recognition in an accident that occurred at the National Stadium flyover in Lagos today.

According to the reports, a commercial bus with passengers went up in flames as it descended from the flyover bridge this evening at about 6.40pm.

Officials of the Lagos state Emergency Managaement Authority LASEMA who arrived the scene after receiving a distress call, say five persons including a child, three women and a man, were burnt beyond recognition. Five others
sustained serious burns and have been taken to the hospital.
