British woman killed on Jerusalem tram by crazed knifeman in Good Friday (Photos)

A young British woman who was stabbed to death by a crazed knifeman on a tram in Jerusalem today was a religious studies exchange student.

Hannah Bladon, 20, was repeatedly knifed in the chest by a Palestinian man believed to have mental health issues while travelling near the Old City on Good Friday.

Hannah Bladon, 20, a student at the University of Birmingham, was killed in a knife attack in Jerusalem Hannah had been on an exchange programme with the Rothberg International School at Hebrew University of Jerusalem since January Authorities pictured cleaning up blood on the train where a British woman, named as Hannah Bladon, was stabbed to death in Israel.

An off-duty police officer pulled the emergency brake and along with a and passer-by wrestled attacker Jamil Tamimi, 57, to the ground.
Hannah was taken to hospital but died soon after while two other people, including a pregnant woman, sustained minor injuries when the tram came to a sudden halt.
